Congratulations to Esther and Ophra for each being named Quad Undergraduate Research Scholars!! The Quad Scholars are awarded competitive, open-disciple grants, with the purpose of enriching the educational experiences of University of Chicago College students by supporting faculty-mentored undergraduate research and creative inquiry projects. Esther, having also won the award last year, will be using the grant to continue her project that looks at the memorability of famous vs non-famous faces across different cultures. Ophra will be using the Quad grant to work on a project that aims to identify whether aphantasic individuals have more built up semantic networks than regular imagers. Congrats again to Esther and Ophra and the fascinating work they’re both doing!
