Dr. Wilma Bainbridge recently presented at Art of Science Chicago, a monthly outreach series where scientists share their work with the public in an art gallery setting. Dr. Bainbridge discussed the lab’s research on how artwork holds an intrinsic memorability based on its visual features, leading people to remember similar pieces regardless of personal preference. She also introduced an artificial intelligence (AI) tool developed by the lab that predicts how likely people are to remember specific artworks!
